In response to the current situation, The Salvation Army’s Camp Sunrise is monitoring the recommendations and updates put forth by the province of British Columbia in regards to coronavirus and COVID-19. The health of our campers and staff are our number one priority, and we will do what is best to protect them, while preventing the spread of COVID-19.

As of today, Off-season camping at Camp Sunrise has been delayed to May 1st at the earliest, but Sunrise summer camp programs have not been cancelled. The start of camp season is a few months out and we are closely monitoring the situation as things are changing very quickly. Plans have been created for a number of possible scenarios and we ask that you monitor our website ( and our Instagram page (@campsunrise) for updates as they happen.
