A portion of our camp property, lovingly known as "Lower Camp" is a private campground facility with cabins, trailer sites, and tenting sites available to Salvation Army members, employees, volunteers, and friends. This is not a public campground.

 

Reservations are on a first come first served basis, using the form below. Rental applicants must be 19+ years of age, agree to the Camp Sunrise Rules & Regulations, and be able to provide a valid Salvation Army reference as part of their initial application.

 

All rental guests of Lower Camp age 18+ are required to submit a current criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector search, prior to their arrival. Guests who fail to do so will not be permitted access to the property.  

 

Lower Camp will be open for rentals from May 1 - October 1, 2023.

 

We are making some changes to the application process this year. We expect applications to be available on April 1, 2023. Requests received before this date will be invalid.

 

Upon receipt of your application form, our office will contact you to confirm your reservation. A deposit of 50% of your total rental fee is required to secure your reservation. The remaining 50% will be due upon arrival at Camp Sunrise.

• Tuck Shop & Camp Store:The Tuck & Camp Store is located in Lower Camp. Guests can purchase snacks, cold drinks & Camp Sunrise merchandise

• All Cabin accommodations are also equipped with a small kitchette, each with a with hot plate, small refrigerator & basic appliances, dishes & cutlery.
• Shared washroom facilities (including showers) are located within easy walking distance of all Lower Camp accommodations.

All accommodation rates are based on the max allowed people/site. A charge of $5.50/night will be added for any additional guests over the age of 12 years.

 

The Ark Suite: $70/night +GST

1 bedroom suite sleeps up to 4 (private bedroom with queen size bed, double pull-out sofa in main living room)

Full kitchen (minus dishwasher)

Includes private washroom facility (sink, toilet & shower)

Ground level accessible

 

Cabins 1 - 5: $65.00/night +GST

Sleeps up to 4 in a double pull-out sofa bed and 1 bunk bed set.

Also includes picnic table/portable BBQ area

A maximum of 1 tent is permitted to be placed beside this cabin. Guests staying in this attached tent will be considered additional guests to the booking and will be charged accordingly ($5.50/person over the max allowed for the cabin. Children 12 & under will not be charged)

 

New Westminster Cottage: $80/night +GST

Note:  NOT AVAILABLE July 1 - August 20

2 bedroom cottage sleeps up to 8 (bedroom with queen bed, bedroom with double bed and bunk beds, pull-out sofa in main living room)

Full kitchen (minus dishwasher)

Includes private washroom facility (sink & toilet only)

 

Temporary Trailer Site: $60/night +GST

Includes 15 AMP electrical & cold water hook up

 

Tent Site: $25/night +GST
